For me an interesting aspect of this is creating a buffer so that you can stuff many more characters through the process. This allow's GNU yes to be far faster, but the code is also larger 77 loc compared to13 loc . Is the current speed of yes actually problematic? c

Parenthesis Solved this Interview Cake problem: "Sometimes (when I nest them (my parentheticals) too much (like this (and this))) they get confusing." Write a function that, given a sentence like the above, along with the position of an opening parenthesis, finds the corresponding closing parenthesis. Example: if the example string above is input with the number 10 (position of the first parenthesis), the output should be 79 (position of the last parenthesis). Portege R830-13C Bought a refurbished Toshiba Portege R830-13C laptop, on first boot I pressed F2 and set the BIOS to boot from CD, I then put in my OpenBSD 5.3 CD, and installed OpenBSD 5.3. I then downloaded and installed OpenBSD 5.4-beta. The plan is to have this laptop dual booting between OpenBSD and Debian. Installed debian in the first partition of the disk. Getting GRUB to play ball was a nightmare - the documentation did not mention the solution: menuentry 'OpenBSD' { set root=(hd0,openbsd1) chainloader +1 boot } This needs to go in the 40_cutom file,then run: update-grub to update the appropriate grub files.
