Power Meter So Scottish power replaced my power meter with another power meter - not a smart meter… Network Shinanigans My firewall box was missing a route to the wireless network - thus the wireless network couldn't find the interwebs , the route has now been added to the hostname.if. The OpenWRT router on the garage also needed the bridge network needing to be brought up. Floating Point Numbers Definition needed when teaching programming… network

Nano Station - OpenWRT Using tftp to reflash the Nano station, but it kept failing, until I realised that I was not setting tftp> binary so the file was being sent as ascii instead. [1] from the man page: mode transfer-mode Set the mode for transfers; transfer-mode may be one of ascii or binary . The default is ascii . This is was part of my work to bring my server cabinet into my home network - I had hoped to use electrical plugs but the mains supplies were different. deviantART gMail in a Browser : using firefox, mutt and vte_plugin.

Virgin Media Currently my ip address is 81.96.60.60 and the gateway is 82.96.60.1 OpenWRT Edited my OpenWRT config to change DNS server, and then: killall dnsmasq /etc/init.d/dnsmasq start to get the changes picked up. OpenWRT
