PinePhone
To connect my MacBook to the pine phone I used:
ioreg -p IOUSBcu -l /dev/cu.usbserial-1420 -s 115200sudo to get access.
PineTime
NRFConnect can be used to connect the pinetime to update the firmware. When the battery goes flat the firmware reverts to the orginal pinetime firmware.
